Itinerary

Our journey begins with a transfer from your hotel to our first stop, the Zeyrek Mosque, a stunning 12th-century structure that once served as the second largest monastery in Istanbul after Hagia Sophia. Here, we will explore and admire the remarkable architecture that showcases the influence of both the Roman and Ottoman empires.

Next, we’ll head to a scenic lookout point, where you can capture breathtaking photos of the hills of the ancient city and even catch a glimpse of another continent, Asia.

From there, we’ll take a leisurely walk to the Roman Aqueduct of Emperor Valens, dating back to the 4th century. Our next stop is the Şehzade Mosque, a 16th-century masterpiece by the renowned architect Sinan, followed by a visit to the Süleymaniye Mosque, considered Sinan’s finest work in Istanbul. Both mosques offer stunning architectural details and impressive viewpoints.

Continuing our tour, we’ll walk towards the Grand Bazaar, passing the Çemberlitaş Column, a relic from the Roman Empire. Along the way, we’ll also see the iconic obelisk, the German Fountain at the Hippodrome, and the exterior of the Blue Mosque. Our tour will culminate with an exterior view of the world-famous Hagia Sophia and the historic Topkapı Palace.

We will conclude the tour around noon, after which we’ll follow our guide back to the hotel.

Begin your day with a visit to the Zeyrek Mosque, a magnificent 12th-century structure that was once the second-largest monastery in Istanbul after Hagia Sophia. Marvel at its unique blend of Roman and Ottoman architectural styles, reflecting the city's diverse historical influences.
From Zeyrek Mosque, head to a scenic lookout point where you can capture stunning photos of the hills of the ancient city and the distant view of Asia across the Bosphorus. Next, enjoy a leisurely walk to the Bozdoğan Aqueduct (Valens Aqueduct), a 4th-century Roman structure that once supplied water to Constantinople.
Continue to the Şehzade Mosque, a beautiful 16th-century mosque designed by the great Ottoman architect Sinan. This mosque is known for its elegant dome and intricate interior design, which pays tribute to Prince Mehmet, the son of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
Next, visit the Süleymaniye Mosque, another masterpiece by Mimar Sinan, considered his finest work in Istanbul. This grand mosque offers breathtaking views over the city and the Golden Horn, along with impressive architectural details.
Make your way towards the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's largest and oldest covered markets. On the way, pass by the historic Çemberlitaş Column, a relic from the Roman Empire that has stood for centuries as a symbol of Istanbul's storied past.
Pause briefly at the Çemberlitaş Column, an ancient Roman triumphal column that dates back to the 4th century. It was erected by Emperor Constantine the Great and remains a significant historical landmark in the heart of Istanbul.
Walk through Sultanahmet Square, the site of the ancient Hippodrome of Constantinople, where you will see the iconic Obelisk of Theodosius and the German Fountain, a gift from Kaiser Wilhelm II to the Ottoman Empire.
You will visit exterior of the Blue Mosque, one of the most elegant examples of Ottoman architecture. You will learn about its fascinating interior decoration, blue tiles and history.
Arrive at the exterior of the Hagia Sophia, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has served as a cathedral, mosque, and now a museum. Admire its awe-inspiring architecture and massive dome, a testament to Byzantine and Ottoman ingenuity.
Conclude your morning tour with an exterior view of Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of the Ottoman Sultans for over 400 years. Enjoy the historical ambiance and panoramic views of the Bosphorus before returning to your hotel.
