Itinerary

This 10-day tour of Turkey offers a rich exploration of the country’s most iconic sites, beginning in Istanbul with a scenic Bosphorus cruise and visits to historical landmarks like the Spice Bazaar, Suleymaniye Mosque, and St. George’s Cathedral. From Istanbul, the journey continues to Amasra on the Black Sea coast and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Safranbolu, known for its charming architecture and cultural heritage. In Ankara, the capital, you will visit Atatürk's Mausoleum before heading to Cappadocia, where you will experience the region’s stunning landscapes, including the famous fairy chimneys and underground cities, with options for a hot air balloon ride and traditional Turkish night.

The adventure moves on through the Taurus Mountains to the ancient sites of Aspendos and Side, and the picturesque city of Antalya. You’ll explore the unique beauty of Pamukkale’s travertine terraces and the ancient city of Hierapolis, then visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Roman cities, and the House of the Virgin Mary. The tour continues to Bursa, the first Ottoman capital, before returning to Istanbul to visit the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, and the Grand Bazaar, concluding a comprehensive journey through Turkey’s most captivating cultural and historical sites.

Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel, where you will have the rest of the day free to relax and explore the city at your leisure.
We start exploring Istanbul's most iconic spots. First, we will visit the Spice Bazaar and shop for traditional Turkish spices, Turkish delights and souvenirs. Then we will take a Bosphorus Tour and enjoy a pleasant journey through the Bosphorus view of Istanbul. Later in the day, we will watch Istanbul from Çamlıca, visit Beylerbeyi Palace and spend free time in Taksim and Istiklal Street. We will end the day at the Galata Tower.
Depart Istanbul after breakfast and travel to Amasra, a picturesque town on the Black Sea coast, known from Homer's The Iliad, where you'll explore the fortress and olive mills. Continue to Safranbolu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and experience its 17th-century Turkish bath, historic wooden houses, and charming main square, where you’ll spend the night.
After breakfast, head to Ankara, Turkey’s capital, to visit the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city before continuing to Salt Lake, Turkey’s second-largest lake. Stop at the Pigeon Valley, and a jewelry factory in Cappadocia, where you will stay in a hotel for the night.
Start your day with an optional hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s unique landscape, followed by visits to the Goreme Valley’s rock-carved churches, Avcilar Valley, Uchisar and Love Valley, famous for their fairy chimneys. Explore local workshops for carpets and ceramics, with an optional Turkish night experience before staying overnight in Cappadocia.
Travel through the Taurus Mountains, with breathtaking views of ice-capped peaks, and visit the well-preserved ancient theater of Aspendos. Explore Side, an ancient city by the sea, and see the Temple of Apollo, Duden Waterfalls, Hadrian's Gate, and the historic port in Antalya, where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, visit Sagalassos, an ancient city known as the city of fountains. Discover the Sagalassos before heading to Pamukkale, famous for its white travertine terraces and hot springs, and the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you will spend the night.
Begin the day with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, followed by an exploration of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, featuring the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Great Theater. Departing from Izmir, we head towards Bergama. Our first stop is the Asclepion Hospital, an important center that contributed to the development of medicine in antiquity. Built in the 4th century BC, this hospital has historical significance as a place where Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine, trained his students, such as Galen, who was born, grew up and worked here. Here, we explore ancient Roman buildings and the understanding of health and learn about how ancient medicine developed. Afterwards, we make our way to the ancient city of Troy. Troy is the home of Homer's famous Iliad epic and the scene of a battle in the past. Here, we visit the Trojan Horse and the ruins of the ancient city, learn about the legendary Trojan War and journey deep into history. Later in the day, we make a crossing between Europe and Asia by crossing the Dardanelles Bridge. This gigantic bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world and a new link to the Dardanelles Straight. After the crossing, we start our journey back to Istanbul via Tekirdag.
We spend one last day in Istanbul. After we will visit Suleymaniye Mosque. Here we will witness one of the architectural triumphs of the Ottoman Empire. Afterwards, we head to the Grand Bazaar. Here you can shop or just enjoy the historical atmosphere. Our next stops will be Cemberlitas, Hippodrome and Sultanahmet Square. We will end the day with a visit to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. In these historic sites, we will discover the splendor of the Ottoman Empire.
Finally, we depart for transfer to the airport and end our tour.
