Finally, we return to Istanbul and complete our tour in this city that harbours both modern and historical traces together.

Itinerary

Starting our tour in Istanbul, we explore the city's iconic monuments and multi-layered culture. Then we move to Cappadocia and enjoy the unique atmosphere created by the fairy chimneys, and those who wish to take a balloon tour at the first light of the morning. From the fifth day onwards, we move from Cappadocia to Konya, feel the spiritual climate of the city at the Mevlana Museum, and from Konya to Pamukkale to see the travertines and the ancient city of Hierapolis. Afterwards, we go to the Aegean Region and visit important stops around Izmir such as the Ancient City of Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, and after exploring ancient centres such as Asclepion in Bergama and Troy, we return to Istanbul via Tekirdağ.

We check in to the hotel with a transfer from the airport and after completing your accommodation, you can spend free time. Stepping into the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Istanbul, you have the opportunity to rest before you start exploring the city.
We start exploring Istanbul's most iconic spots. First, we will visit the Spice Bazaar and shop for traditional Turkish spices, Turkish delights and souvenirs. Then we will take a Bosphorus Tour and enjoy a pleasant journey through the Bosphorus view of Istanbul. Later in the day, we will watch Istanbul from Çamlıca, visit Beylerbeyi Palace and spend free time in Taksim and Istiklal Street. We will end the day at the Galata Tower.
We depart from Istanbul and arrive in Ankara. We will visit Anıtkabir. This mausoleum, where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is buried, is one of the most important symbols of the Turkish nation. Then, we are on our way to Salt Lake. Tuz Lake is the second largest lake in Turkey and offers an eye-catching view with its white salt deposits. Finally, we depart for Cappadocia and check into our hotel. Dinner is included.
Today we explore Cappadocia. First, we will visit the rock-carved churches and chapels in the Goreme Valley. Here, historic rock structures and frescoes offer important clues to the region's past. Next, we head to Love Valley. This valley is famous for its unique fairy chimneys and natural formations. In Uchisar Valley, we will take a photo break next to Uchisar Castle, which has the highest rock formation in the region. Then, we move to Pigeon Valley for another photo break. This place is famous for the pigeon nests carved into the rocks. Later in the day, we will have a photo break in Avcılar Valley. We will also learn about traditional handicrafts and gemstones with visits to the Carpet School and Turquoise and Sultanite Gemstones Workshop. Optionally, you can take a balloon ride in the morning and watch the Turkish night show in the evening. These activities will make your time in Cappadocia unforgettable.
This morning we leave Cappadocia and set off towards Konya. On the way, we stop by Sultan Khan Caravanserai, one of the important works of Seljuk architecture, and make a short visit. Upon our arrival in Konya, we visit the Mevlana Museum and feel the deep spiritual texture of the city. In the evening, we settle in the hotel and end the day by having dinner at the hotel.
Leaving Konya, we are travelling through the impressive geography of the Western Taurus Mountains. After seeing Eğirdir Lake panoramically on the way, we reach the shore of Beyşehir Lake. Here we see the historical stone bridge and the Hittite water monument by the lake and continue towards Pamukkale. After our arrival, we stroll through the world-famous white travertines of Pamukkale and discover the ancient city of Hierapolis. We settle into our hotel in Pamukkale for dinner and accommodation.
We depart from Pamukkale in the morning and travel towards Izmir. The beautiful landscapes of Western Anatolia accompany us along the way. Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary, an important pilgrimage point for Christianity. After this serene visit, we move on to the ancient city of Ephesus. In Ephesus, which impresses with its Library of Celsus, great theatre and temples, we trace the traces of history and breathe the atmosphere of the ancient period. Later in the day, we visit a leather jacket factory, watch a fashion show and have pleasant moments. In the evening, we settle in our hotel in Izmir and have dinner at the hotel.
Departing from Izmir in the morning, we arrive in Bergama, visit Asclepion, one of the most important medical centres of antiquity, and take a short journey into the history of medicine. Then we cross the Ida Mountains along the coastline of the Gulf of Edremit and the Aegean Sea and reach the ancient city of Troy. After seeing the excavation site and the famous Trojan Horse in Troy, which is the subject of legends, we return to Istanbul in the evening by following the Tekirdağ route and make our accommodation here.
We spend one last day in Istanbul. After we will visit Suleymaniye Mosque. Here we will witness one of the architectural triumphs of the Ottoman Empire. Afterwards, we head to the Grand Bazaar. Here you can shop or just enjoy the historical atmosphere. Our next stops will be Cemberlitas, Hippodrome and Sultanahmet Square. We will end the day with a visit to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. In these historic sites, we will discover the splendor of the Ottoman Empire.
Finally, we depart for transfer to the airport and end our tour.
