Itinerary
This 3-day tour of Mesopotamia begins in Diyarbakır, where you explore its historic sites, such as the On Gözlü Köprü, Hevsel Gardens, and Ulu Cami, before heading to Şanlıurfa to experience Balıklı Göl, historic bazaars, and a traditional Sıra Gecesi. The journey continues to Harran and Göbeklitepe, the world's oldest temple complex, and then to the city of Mardin, where you will visit significant sites like Kasımiye Medrese and Mardin Ulu Cami, and explore its charming streets and hidden passageways.
The final day includes a visit to Deyrulzafaran Monastery and the ancient city of Dara, followed by a trip to Midyat to see its traditional architecture and craftsmanship. The tour concludes with a boat ride along the Tigris River in Hasankeyf, before returning to Diyarbakır for your flight back, bringing an end to a memorable exploration of Mesopotamia's ancient wonders and vibrant culture.
